Single Wall Smooth Bore HDPE Duct

Description

Coiled HDPE service duct manufactured to ENATS 12-24 specification. The duct has an excellent durability performance and can be used for either open trench or trenchless applications.

HDPE service duct is available in black as standard, red and orange upon request. Hockey sticks to connect the electric meters with the underground service ducting are also supplied.

Immune to most corrosion & fungal contamination, HDPE service duct is also resistant to many common liquids and chemicals. Being flexible at below zero temperatures not only makes the duct easier to handle and work with, but also eliminates the need for bends within the line of duct.

Other bespoke sizes and coil lengths are also available for use as a duct or in trenchless applications.
Electric Cable Duct (ECD) is designed to house and protect electrical cables when buried in the ground and to withstands Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).

Available in a variety of sizes from 63mm to 250mm with an SDR11 pressure rating and available in 6 metre and 12 metre lengths as standard. Other lengths and SDR ratings are available upon request. Coils are available in diameters from 63mm – 180mm.
The pipe is marked with the manufacturing company’s name and “HDPE PE80 DIN 8074 NOT FOR POTABLE WATER DANGER ELECTRIC CABLE (OD) X SDR11 (EXTRUSION LINE NO.) BUTT WELDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH WIS 4-32-08 (BATCH NO.) (DATE/TIME)”

ECD is supplied in black as standard, however other colours of cable duct are available upon request, such as orange, green and purple, and is manufactured using a co-extrusion method.
