Description
Halifax Drain is a comprehensive range of socketless pipes & fittings available from 100mm to 200mm diameters and in 3 metre lengths whilst also being suitable for below ground drainage solutions. The cast iron system provides greater resistance to ground movement than PVC or clay systems which is something of importance when building on made-up land.
There is a choice of ductile iron or stainless steel couplings to satisfy most designs and facilitate connections directly on to the Halifax Soil above ground system. Typical applications include drainage pipes below public buildings, hospitals, hotels & exposed bridge drainage.
All Halifax Drain products have been manufactured to BS EN 877. Pipes & fittings are manufactured in grey cast iron which exceeds the requirements of BS EN 1563 Grade EN-JL 1020 ISO 185 Grade 15. Halifax Drain products will be supplied in accordance with CE markings requirements. BBA approval has also been awarded to the system, the scope of which is as shown on Agrément Certificate No. 06/4401.
